Coming Up
Malachi is our new Minister of Spiritual Formation and is planning four listening opportunities coming up. We would love for you to plan a time to come, meet, and chat with him! There are 4 main opportunities, each with a slightly different focus:
1. "Serve & Shape" for Volunteers & Ministry Leaders (new, interested, current)

4. "One Kingswood" An All-Generations Formation Gathering (new, interested, current)

If you are unable to make it to one of these four events, Beginning Monday, September 28, stop by for an informal conversation! Malachi will hold Monday office hours from 1:00–2:30pm and 5:30–7:00pm. Scheduling a time within one of the available windows is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome!
Register for Wednesday Night Dinner
Please join us Wednesday nights at 5:45 pm, serving until 6:30 pm, in the gym! Wednesday Night Supper gives you the night off from cooking and gives you the opportunity to spend time with your Kingswood family and friends.
September 30 Menu: bbq chicken, scalloped potatoes, mixed vegetables, rolls, dessert
October 14 Menu: beef lasagna, broccoli, salad, dessert
The Kingswood Crafters will host their next gathering in Room 309 of the CLC from October 15–18. Crafting sessions will run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, with Sunday beginning at 1 p.m. All forms of crafting and creating are welcome, including crocheting, painting, card making, scrapbooking, and more. A wagon is available to help transport supplies to Room 309—just let them know if you need it.

Women's Retreat
Save the date for the upcoming Women’s Retreat January 29 – 31, 2027, at Pinnacle Retreat Center in Clayton, Ga, led by Reverend Dr. Ellen Shepard!
Ellen is a retired elder in the North Georgia Conference. She has served new church starts and established churches, small churches and mega churches in a variety of capacities. A native of St. Simon’s Island, she enjoys ministry, leading retreats, collecting quilts, writing, working with people of all ages and has a special love for children’s literature.
