There is a lot going on around Kingswood during the advent season- check out a few of these things below!
Help Bring Christmas Cheer to Children in Our Community
Kingswood Church is partnering with two different ministry groups to help spread Christmas hope and joy this year. Purchase individual gifts from the Cross-Cultural Ministries Amazon wish list for delivery directly to CCM by Wednesday, December 11. Kingswood Church has supported this ministry during summer school supply drives and Christmas gift giving. As in years past, all CCM students will receive gifts at festive Christmas parties during the week of December 16. These parties are a highlight of the year for their students and families, who are often facing financial challenges. They’ll have a devotion, yummy snacks, fun Christian crafts, cookie decorating, and even a chance for the kids to select and wrap gifts for their moms and dads.
Christmas Card Collection
The Family and Children Committee will collect homemade Christmas Cards to distribute to community members in nursing homes and assisted living complexes. This is a fun activity to do at home, or with friends! Jessica Spencer will collect the cards on Sundays Dec 1-15. Please reach out with any questions to Jessica at jspencer@kingswood.church.
